hello everyone!

Well, i have just completed an entire week of working family camp. Although it was a challenge and not one of my favorite weeks it did go realy well.

I have had an experience this past weekend that i feel i need to share with those of you who may or may not care. On ACE, Adventure Challenge Education, we had a group come in that was… shall we say unusual. They were a female Jewish Orthodox Camp called camp Aguda.

It was pretty fascinating working with girls that were so seperated from todays culture. They live by the old testament religiousley. Let me give you some examples; they do not touch or interact with men outside of the family until marriage, they have a matchmaker to suggest husbands and the parents screen the boys throughout the courting period, shirts and long sleeves are always worn. The Sabeth, lent and other holidays are always observed, they all speak and write hebrew and they do not in any form consider Jesus Christ to be the Son of God.

Wow, they were an interesting group. in truth they were awesome discussing, laughing and playing paintball. YEAH in skirts. i would show you a picture but my computer is refusing to upload.

This weekend i am headed to Ann Arbor to move a freind into Michigan. Im trying to met up with chelsea and Leah. the two girls i am going to the dominican with. so please pray for that.
