hola,

today i have finally found a moment to sit down and tell the world what is happening in my little corner of the world.
It occured to me that i have not told all of the people supporting what a regualar day in the DR is like. I really want
everyone to know what is going on in my life and how i am growing and what i am experiencing.

An average day in the DR!
6:00-the mile of prayer (the girls and i have opted to excersize in the morning walking a mile to the track, running and
praying for a mile in addition)
7:30-personel devotions (these are awesome! an hour and a half)
9:15-class starts (this week is peacemaking)
12:00- LUNCH (prepared by one of the team)
Siesta!!! (typically over run by planning and visiting)
2:00- Alternate church planting and interships (church planting includes getting to know the people we will be ministering to
and gaining trust with the comunity ill write about my intership later)
6:00-DINNER (also cooked by a member of our team)
After dinner things start to wind down and we typically go to church services and youth meetings.

My intership im happy to announce is an after school homework program where i will be teaching english! What is even better
is that my intership doesnt start until an hour after its supposed to. So i will be joining Chelsea (another FYM) for an hour
at her internship working in the elderly home. That im glad to say is where some of the funniest stories happen.

I want to thank all of you that have been praying for me. Im happy to say that a prayer has been answered and i made my own
friends apart from my American team. they are really cute little ladies that want me to practice my spanish with them. I know
that this is where i am supposed to be, so thankyou for everything that you have done for me.

dont be afraid to post questions i would love to answer them.

Im sorry, this last statement is for Doug Kloosterman. Doug i met this little girl today that is exactly like Kayla. They
look and act very similar. Ill send a picture when possible.

lov emily
