Alot of people have been asking the question, "What are you actually going to do in the Dominican?" or the ever popular, "How is this going to help you?" So i decided to dig a little deeper to give better answers and more indepth responces. I emailed my team leader of the Dominican Miguel Shaul and was answered by his wife Kristen with some great responces. Here are a few of them;

Q: In group disciplship what we will we be studying?

  A.We focus on three aspects

     1. Your relationship with God  (topics may include Identity in Christ,

How to study the Bible, Listening  prayer , Surrender, Obedience)

     2. Body of Christ (topics may  include Servanthood, Koinonea, Spiritual

     gifts, Selflessness, Conflict Management)

     3. Ministry or Kingdom Building (topics may include Prayer Walking,

Evangelism, Intercession, Disciple Making, Church Planting, Leading

     small groups.)

Q:   What are the goals of your FYM disciplship?

  A.  I mentioned above the three areas of growth we hope to see in each

individual. We desire for each person to grow in their relationship with

the Lord, in their understanding of the Body of Christ, and in ministry.

Q:What do you want your kids to walk away with?

  A.  A true deep love and passion for the Lord and a heart for the world that

is beyond what they had before.

To see deep long lasting character growth that is based on the Lords

leading in their life and grounded in the Truth.

That they view the Body of Christ living in community as something

       beautiful and worth the effort.

These are the first things that come to mind.

Please keep praying for my team and our connections. I am so excited and yet very nervouse for what is to come.

P.S. THANKYOU to all of who joined me at my graduation party to celebrate it was great!
