Hello!
well this weekend, in preparation for AIM’s “boot camp, i went with a few friends to Pokagon state park for a camping fiasco. It was incredible! Things that happened;
Fortunatly for us we had the opportunity to experience camping at its best with 2-4 in. of rain falling in the short 2 days we were their. It rained endlessly…..
While learning to set up a tent, cook and start a fire in the rain i learned a few very important lessons. 1. it is necessary to bring a poncho or umbrella. 2. tents are not by nature waterproof and 3. when in all despair look up and God will provide something amazing to watch!
It was awesome to sit back and watch nature take place all around you. It seems a little corny but i was reminded of when Jesus said, “and even the very rocks of the earth will cry out…” talking about proclaiming Gods greatness. Please keep praying for this trip and the people going on it. We are all searching to make this the best mission ever so dont hesitate to post comments or advice about what we can do!
