Hello United States,

  I am home for Christmas and this break has truly been a blessing. It has been a time of regrouping, thinking, praying and preparing for my next semester. I have also spent a lot of time visiting old friends and spending time with my family (and Ben).

     The beginning of my vacation started with my family coming down to visit me in the DR. They saw what my life is like and how I live and then we took the public transportation to a resort on the other side of the island. We spent a week at the resort just enjoying each other and the beauty of the DR. This picture is of my sisters and I making a sand-man (our version of a snowman).

  After the week we headed to Santo Domingo the capitol and saw some of the historical sights. It was really pretty and there is a lot of crazy history in the capitol. We came home for a week then I went to Mexico. Now I am home for the duration of my break and will spend it preparing and having a lot of fun.

 Please pray for my team as we enter this next semester. We want to push ahead and keep a driving will.
